Straps

Packaging Consumables include different materials used as the means of unitization and binding for various packaging and strapping machines.

The packaging consumables can be used with both manual and automated packaging lines for palletizing, packaging, bundling, and wrapping purposes.

We distribute Polyester (PET) strapping roll and Polypropylene (PP) Strapping Roll that is waterproof, tear-resistant, and is extensively used as a substitute for steel straps on manual packing tools and automated packaging lines respectively.

The Polyester PET strapping rolls are perfect substitutes for steep straps. These are waterproof, tear-resistant strapping rolls that are extensively used for palletizing, packaging and bundling purposes.

These strapping rolls are used in combination with manual packing tools. They come with embossed or a plain surface finish.

PET strap is suitable for a wide range of light to medium/heavy applications and is highly suitable for sharp-edged packages.

Polyester is the strongest plastic strap. It is often used for heavy loads that require a high tension during handling, transport and storage. PET straps offer high tension, are able to retain this tension for a long period of time and have an excellent stretch recovery. Because of the stretch recovery, they are excellently resistant to shocks and impacts. PET strap is light, UV resistant, recyclable and easy to handle. These properties remain, even at high temperatures.

Polypropylene or PP straps are the most commonly used straps and are used in a wide range of industries. This can be explained by the fact that this strap is economical in price and can be used in many applications.

Polypropylene was specially designed for light to medium heavy loads and has an excellent performance under normal conditions, because properties such as breaking strength, elasticity and tension loss are sufficient for many applications. It is available in different widths, thicknesses, compositions and colours and can be easily printed with, for example, warnings, quality marks or marketing messages.

Polypropylene strapping rolls are preferred for strapping on fully automated packaging lines. They are a good substitute for steel straps. The strapping roll is made from 100% pure PP granules which makes it the ideal choice for palletizing, packaging and bundling.

Steel strap is ideal for bundling, reinforcing or securing products or pallets.

Steel strap is very durable and non-stretchable, so it can also be used for extreme tasks, such as bundling and securing heavy, sharp or hot products. Steel strap makes transporting and storing loads and products safe and efficient. In our selection you will find galvanized, rostered or black steel strap. There are different widths, thicknesses and different hardness classes to choose from.

Steel straps can have extremely high tensile strength and extreme elasticity, comparable to plastic strap. This gives it a high shock reserve making it very suitable for sharp-cornered products such as stones or steel plates. It can be used in manual devices and machines. In addition, it comes in a wide range of widths, thicknesses and surface finishes
